Upon receipt of the required pre-registration information (either online or by mail), the International Union will send the Local Union a Certification of Delegation form with a list of names of pre-registered delegates, alternates, and guests.
The Local Union President and Secretary-Treasurer will review and certify that the delegates have been properly selected, and that the list, including delegates, alternates, and guests, is accurate, by signing the Certification of Delegation form, affixing the Local Union’s official seal, and returning the Certification to the International Secretary-Treasurer in care of SEIU’s Convention registration agent, Opus Solutions (via fax to 971-223-0794 or e-mail to
SEIUConvention2008@regsvc.com).
The Certification of Delegation form must be in the hands of the International Secretary–Treasurer at least 30 days prior to the opening of the Convention. That's no later than Saturday, May 3, 2008.This process shall fulfill the requirements of Article IV, Sections 8 and 9 of the International Constitution and Bylaws.
